I can now confirm that the pick up time is 00:30. Please follow instructions as per the previous post with regards to parking etc. Once you have collected your child, please could we kindly ask that you leave the school premises as quickly as possible.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you as parents for your support with the trip in making it such a success. The pupils have made the weekend such a rewarding experience for staff. They have excelled themselves in terms of both behaviour and resilience.
Finally, I would like to thank the staff who have accompanied the trip for their hard work this weekend. I could not have done it without them.
Another successful trip with a great set of pupils makes me want to do it again and again. However, for now rest is needed while the memories will be shared with you for the rest of this week, and beyond. #maletontour #madrid

We are now on the coach making our way back up to Malet Lambert. The driver has informed us we will not be making a stop and at the moment we are expecting to be at Malet Lambert for 00:30. I will update you when we are an hour away.
Please can I ask that parents leave the school entrance clear with enough space for the coach to pull in. Once the coach is in the school grounds then feel free to come in to meet your child. All passports and EHIC cards have been given back to pupils.
I am still in contact with the travel company with regards to the Flamenco show and I will update parents once I know more.
It is vert quiet on the coach. Safe to say that pupils have enjoyed theirselves to the full and they will be ready for a lie in tomorrow!

We have landed safely into London Heathrow. We will update our ETA and progress in due course.

We are on the coach to Madrid airport. This is a very busy time for staff and we will update you with timings as and when we know more. All is scheduled on time at the moment. Pupils have had a fab time and spirits are still high on the coach.
Pupils have just eaten their final breakfast. We are all packed ready for our journey home later on this afternoon. Pupils will have the opportunity to buy souvenirs and do any last minute shopping. Lunch will be in the Puerta del Sol where there is a variety of choice. We will update you on our travel arrangements later on today. #finalday #madrid2019
What a lovely last evening, finished off with ice cream on our walk home from the Plaza Mayor.
Once again, the pupils have behaved impeccably and have thrown theirselves into the Spanish culture.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the flamenco show has been cancelled. I am in contact with the travel company as I write this message. Pupils were very understanding and we are taking them for ice cream (note, this will be paid for) after another visit to the Plaza Mayor. At 9pm we will be heading back to the hotel so that pupils can have some free time in their rooms. All are still in very good spirit! #maletontour
